Michael Alexander Salon

As one of the few Arizona natives, I was born and raised in the Glendale area and moved to New River over 17 years ago. Growing up in the beautiful desert, I've found a passion for riding horses. In my spare time, I trail ride and have competed in local barrel races. I was lucky to marry my best friend and together we have a beautiful baby girl.

I discovered my love for hair at a young age doing my mothers hair and playing dress up with my older cousin. I enjoy making people feel good through finding themselves in unique beauty styles and trends.

I graduated top of my class in 2011 from the Penrose Academy. I was  thrilled when  Wella chose me out of everyone in our salon to go to Beverly Hills, CA to take an advanced baby lights, balayage  & coloring class. The knowledge and techniques that I learned there allowed me to confidently  excel just when the ombre's & balayage look were first becoming popular.  I believe in preserving your hairs integrity while achieving your special look.

I love working at Michael Alexander Salon we all work so well together. I have taken on the role of mentoring  our upcoming new talent who are fresh out of hair school, I love teaching them the latest and greatest haircuts & fresh colors that are trending.
